First thing that comes to mind is the cooling fans. Do the cooling fans come on? If not, 1st check the fuse for them, if blown replace (might blow then next one, then you are troubleshootng the fan circuit)
If the fuse is good, next step is the fan temperature switch. It will be located in the rediator. They are usually simple on/off switches so you should be able to short the two leads together and see if the fans come on.
If they do, replace the switch, if not, need to check the Fan relay.
Before replacing the relaay, I would take a volt meter and see if power is getting to the fans when it should be.
another thought/question... it doesnot overheat when driving at regular speeds..?
If it has A/C usually there will be two fans and at least one will come on if the A/C is turned on.... something else to checkanother thought/question... it doesnot overheat when driving at regular speeds..?
