I have this air conditioner. What I did was get a long plastic tube from home depot and connect it to the middle back drain. I then put the plastic tube outside my window, or if u have a drain somewhere put it in there or put the end into a big bucket. Let gravity do its job. I did not connect the tube to the internal bucket b/c I would have to empty it too often. The air conditioner is on top of a table so that water will flow down the tube and out the window.

You have high humidity. Its supposed to drain the water into a bucket. Sounds like south florida to me?

Nothings wrong with it except you have a high humidty problem. Wet basement? Good luck
