For those with p4m800pro m the sound driver is either Realtek ac97 ...or Realtek high definition , and both can be found on a internet search ...if you do not know the kin of audio card ya have , you might take a look in the user guide ...usually is specified there ...( for on board video card ).....for those whom might have a different card ..they also migh try to search for sound-max video driver ...anyway ..its almost impossible to not work with one of these 3... What kind of PC do you have? Is the sound device integrated? What version of OS are you running? Windows I presume. This is a very common problem reformatting a hard drive. You lose the sound drivers or the wrong sound driver is selected. If you can go to the web site of the computer manufacturer, easy to do, they may be able to steer you to where you can find the drivers.
