The blinks indicate what part is fualty if your trying to fix this set your self use a serivce manual for blink codes, count the blinks and you will know what board is fualty. usually it is a safety feature with panasonic this happens when a circut if fualty and the board affected is bad. i have the same set i had a similar issue i replaced the affected board and it works excellent now.. find a service manual site it should be available for download, may cost you a few buck but youll be sure what to replace..for parts you can search auction sites and electronic parts sites i would recomend a auction site they sell for a lower price than electronic parts supply site..hope this helps
Usually a seven blink shutdown indicates either a y-sustain or buffer board issue or any combination of the 3 boards. I would recommend calling an authorized service center to fix.
I'm doing factual research on these blinking problems the Panasonic televisions are having. I'd like to hear more about your experience and what has happened since you posted (did you call Panasonic? did you have the tv repaired or just replace it?). If you're inclined to share your story, please email me at [email protected]I'm doing factual research on these blinking problems the Panasonic televisions are having.
