Paralell print cable to usb adapter
I am trying to connect an hp laserjet 6p printer with a paralell cable to a computer with USB ports only using an paralell/usb6' cable adapter. computer is using windows xp - proper drivers downloaded and the installation seems to go correctly. Printer Icon appears and is "ready" etc., however nothing prints. Total size of printer cable with adapter is 15' - wondering if that's the problem or perhaps an incorrect adapter. Appreciate comments from anyone who has had similar experience.

Go to your control panel & delete the printer, shut down & restart turn the printer on after restart see if the computer sees the printer if not try reinstalling if this doesn't work possibly the adaptor
