Part of the plastic filler cap has broken off and fell into a 2.2 dti vauxhall movano engine.Whats the best thing to do? Drop the oil and inspect the filter and sump? Or is it a rocker cover off and how easy is this to do?

Of it has fallen into oil filler cap then ye rocker cover off first then if not there, then strip down from top to botom. Make life as easy for yourself as possible.
