Passenger door ajar and courtesy light on permanently
2006 turbo subaru outback. passenger door closed on seatbelt and now courtesy light and door ajar warning light are permanently on. What happened and how do I fix it?

Sounds like you broke the sensor on the door to say if it closed our not. There should be a push button that will push in a say the door is closed. Make sure that isn't damaged, if it is then it will need to be replaced. The best place to buy this part is the dealer unfortunately. When you buy that part ask them for directions on replacing it.
