Hi. I have a Gateway 506GR Desktop PC. Lately, the fan has sounded like it was grinding or just making a loud, strange noise. I took the main fan out and cleaned the dust out (And there was a lot) as well as the fan that was mounted to the back of the case. Cleaned that one as well.

I put them back on, and now since yesterday the fans are just running at a high speed constantly. They never seem to slow down.

I'm wondering if I may have put the back fan in backwards. It's blowing air outward from the case. Basically, both fans are blowing outward. Do I want the back fan to be pulling air in, while the main fan blows it out the side?
