Pc won't recognize hardware
Gateway window98 isn't recognizing the hardware for the vistaquest 5.0 (VQ500), when i plug it in the usb port and it isn't allowing me to view the photos from the camera. installed it today. how to i fix this?

Windows 98 is very old technology that cannot support many of the camera's of today. The camera manual will confirm the minimum operating system requirements which you may find excludes 98. There is an XP upgrade from 98 which is not too expensive and which should solve your problem.
