Peg pergo John Deere Gator goes for about 2 seconds then stops suddenly
The ride one starts easily in 1st, 2nd, or Reverse then only a few seconds later stops suddenly. Battery is fully charged and in good shape. You must let it sit for a minute then change gears before it goes again then the problem repeats.

It almost sounds like a thermal fuse, but these don't have a thermal fuse, so id say it might be a bad shifter switch
