Pen does not work and the LED light on the graphic tablet is constantly blinking
I recently brought a graphic tablet WP5540, I installed the drivers that came along with it. After installation I tried using the digital pen that comes along with it but the curzor on the screen does not move at all and the green LED light on the tablet is constantly blinking. I would be greatful if someone could help me on this.

I just fixed the same problem, my tabled was working fine since 3 years, suddently same problem cable. As it is not in warrenty any more, so i opened it and found the usb connecting wires, were some how a) getting short at the tablet entry end, b) the cable was sort of pushing the cabnet out ( on Top left Corner). Initially i brought the ckt bord out of the plastic cabnit, and placed such that the cables are not under any force ( free ) moving, it started working, then, i placed back it in cabnet, with wire properly routet and such that it is not putting any preasure on while i was putting the screws back. and it has been last 1 hour it is working perfectly fine.

I purchased the same tool, and it did not work, later I went back to the shop where I bought, and showed him the problem.
the technical guy there tried it, it was not functioning, so, he opened another one and tried it, it worked on my same laptop.
because it was under guarantee!, the shop gave me instantly the working piece and took back the malfunctioning one.
I advice you to check with your vendor, it happens ;)
