His problem can be caused by either some bad sectors in your pen drive i.e. data corruption or by the virus present in it. The first case can be dealt with by checking the pen drive going to right click on the drive>properties> tools> check now. The second case can be handled by simply scanning your drive by some anti virus or by any utility such as autorun Eater, which can detect and delete some autorun files present in it. But the first thing is you have to stop your pc from restart. For this you must disable the Autoplay option related to any removable media. In run type gpedit.msc, press enter, go to Administrative templates> System> double click on Turn off Autoplay, click on Enabled and Under Settings> Select All Drives in the drop down and click OK. Thereafter do as told above.
