Pen no longer pressure senstive in painter and photoshop
The pen doesnt register pressure sensitivity within either painter or photoshop. As well, the keystroke settings I set for the table will only work a few times then revert to their default.

This just could be a classic case of bad or degraded drivers for the Pad device, try uninstalling the drivers, reboot the machine and reinstalling the drivers, also check that all the connections are nice and snug in the sockets

Please remove the software for the tablet. Then reinstall. This should correct the issue. Some of the older tablets use batteries older tablets and of course wireless models Please check the batteries as well.
