Personal CD player doesn't power on
I purchased this product from Target as a Christmas gift. The recipient just opened it to use and it does not work. We've tried 2 different sets of new batteries and nothing. At this point it is too late to return it to the store. Any suggestions?

There was another post suggesting a novel approach. He said to shake player vigorously a couple of times or drop it from about 2-3 feet on carpet (without a cd in it). I did both. It worked for him and to my amazement --- it worked for me too on a SpongeBob personal cd player. What do you have to lose? Good luck.
Sorry that didn't work for you. If I were you I would check to see if Target still carries that item. If they do; I would go buy it and then return the old one on the new receipt. This isn't dishonest. You didn't get what you paid for. I hope you can get it worked out.
