Petrol in Diesel engine
I have put petrol in my diesel Disco 3( 2005) by error. I had not realised until toolate and the engine stopped. Is it safe to leave Petrol in the tank overnight until i can have it recovered to a Land Rover dealer.? Is this a major problem or a simple drain and flush exercise? I have I caused major engine damage?

Do not do anything but have it taken to the dealer. there are a multitude of things taht need to be changed and replaced. it's unfortunate that this is happened , but your only option is to have the certified mechanics repair the damage. hope this answers it for you. Remember in the future that a deisel nozzle is always a little larger than regular gas nozzels. please rate this...thanks
