Phaser 8200 Help
Greetings and Thank you for your willingness to help.
I am getting two error code on my 8200, 15 004 45 and 07 005 47.
I beleive the first one is the heating drum and the second on is the clutch.
Do you have easy to follow instructions you could email me on how to replace these items. (I have already paid for repairs ($800) in the past at outragous prices. If I cannot fix this myself then I tossing it out along with over $500 worth of ink) We primarily use the printer at church for color borchures and ad materies. The printer has about 11300 pages printed so far.
Thank You

That clutch is very easy to replace.
You take off the left cover, looking from the front.
Once you have the clutch it will be easily seen. But its on the lower part of the frame toward the front.
You take off a clip, slip the new cluch on, plug it in and your ready.
The cautions, Make sure you get the "U" shaped part of the clutch stuck in the metal bracket, or the first time the clutch engages it will spin and break the wire, and you would need another clutch. That is a common problem part with that machine, the new clutches are a newer style.
Also make sure you route the clutch wire properly. Keep it out of gears. Another thing to look for is on your maintenance tray, there are 2 black tabs that stick out. One on each side. Maybe an inch long and a quarter inch high. Check the bottom of them for wear, They should be straight, not having any cuts in it.
'Let me know, that should ( the clutch) should resolve both codes and as I said its easy.
Oh yeah, to take off the cover, there is one torx screw on the top back of the cover and one on the upper front, inside the front cover. Once those 2 screws are removed, grasp the cover at the top in the middle and pull up and toward yourself.
Good luck.
