Picture dimmed. can see the picture and in menu increased the backlight to max but did not go back to normal. checked eco settings and did factory reset. still very dim but can see the picture

Yah kindly follow this tip. After loosing the back cover when the tv power cord is removed from power socket, check for bulged or defect power capacitors in both the primary & secondary side of the power pack if found any kindly replace it with the actual or equivalent value as this electrolytic capacitor defects is much common for Samsung power packs
