The Picture Off mode could be enabled if the picture is visible for a while. To check if this is the case, press any button on the remote other than power or volume. If it is, press Menu. Enter the Picture sub-menu and select Picture Off. Disable the feature. This feature is described in the E-manual for the 6350 series TVs here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/2014-led-tv-h6350-series . If the picture is dim at times, check if the eco solution mode is enabled (System > Energy Savings).
If the screen is always dark, then the back light is not working. This can be caused by the failure of the LED back lights or the inverter that powers the backlighting. If you see a faint image when you shine a flashlight at the TV, this could the problem. The inverter usually fails before the LEDs. Replacing the inverter requires opening the TV and could have a shock risk. Replacing the backlighting requires separating the LCD panel from the bezel and getting between the layers at the edge of the panel.
