Picture will come on, sound only for a momemt or two, power light in front goes out after a moment. worked fine until now? How can i fix this (it is out of warranty period)?

Replace capacitor 2465, a 25 volt 47 MF specs and be sure you use a 105 degree cap in its place. Have them change out the 200 volt 4.7 cap since you have the board out as an extra fix.
You need to install a horizontal kit #4835 310 57673
This will correct the horizontal timing. This is a factory approved fix.
