Pilot is on but heat won't come on when I turn thermostat up
It just make a clicking noise when I turn the thermostat on. The fan does come on to throw out the heat.

You say the pilot is on but there is also another setting on the gas valve called "on". Be sure its turned to on some times you have to push the knob down slightly to move it to turn.
