We have a brand new Empire MV145 heater, the pilot light does not reach the thermocouple and does not stay lit when control knob is released. The service man has bled the line and checked the fuel pressure. Adjusting the small brass screw per the troubleshooting instructions does not remedy the situation. Heating the thermocouple with a separate flame allowed the heater to fire up.
