somehow my text did'nt go through, sorry for that but this is a pic of a thermocouple which yours may be, or a thermopyle which the sensing bulb will be around 3 mm larger. It connects from the gas valve to the bracket of the end or output side of the pilot tube. These costs around 5 to 10 dollars at most hardware stores you will need to measure the length of the exsisting thermo device as this is critical in placement.
