I have a CD-P670 6-disk changer which exhibits 2 problems, possibly related. When it's hot, it will either not play at all or will play a few tracks & play intermittently or display error 11. In moderate temperatures it plays the first 7 or 8 tracks, but not the remainder. Tried cleaning the lens multiple times with 3 different cleaning disks, inserting different audio CDs (commercially made & CD-Rs) & using other magazines with the same result. Inasmuch as the laser reads the first 7 or 8 tracks & the sound is good, I don't think that it's the problem.

I opened the changer & lubed the worm gear that moves the lens assembly with white lithium grease & it appears to move freely when driven by its motor. All other functions are OK & nothing looks worn or warped.

I'm stumped. HELP!
