Play online ps3 in hotel free wireless Internet n won't connect
Some reason it won't let me connect n play call duty online in the hotel I'm staying at keeps saying server is timed out n won't connect but is no security n signal is good. Don't understand please help

I'm staying in a hotel and have free wi-fi and wired internet but I can not seem to get online. During the connection test the "obtain IP address" step is successful, however the next step "internet connection" fails. This is an unsecured network and does not require any wpa keys , and I don't think it requires an SSID. I had no trouble connecting my laptop.

The hotel has one internet connection for the whole building and has a firewall, i can't even play online games like wow on my computer :(

Some hotels don't put on security, but when a computer user first opens their browser after they connect there is a page that tells you that you have to pay for using it. Once you pay them they give you a username and password and allow that computer to get online. So go ask the front desk people if that is the case.
