Playstation 3 reads a playstation game but doesnt play
Detects dvds music cds etc. But doesnt play playstation 3 games. I have a 40Gb playstation, second time this has happened. One console got replaced. no warranty, ran out one year ago. Error occured while playing CoD4. Got console replace. Same game, same error. no warranty,

I THINK it has something to do with the Blu Ray lazer, something which is quite expensive to replace, I recomend taking it to a rapair shop or something, because unless you are VERY good with electronics, a lazer repair is USUALLY reasonably difficultto replace.
