Please can anyone suggest which flashguns are safe to use with a Pentax K20D without frying the electronics ? I have an old Vivitar 283, and a Pentax 240 AF, but would really like one with TTL response. Thanks. Tony

I would not use and old style flash gun on modern digital cameras the voltage acroos the points will indeed fry the electrics. Have a look at the Yougnuo range of flash guns Great functionality and not too expensive
Thanks, Teddyboy, got myself a Yougnuo gun, and Ricoh/Pentax confirmed that the Pentax AF280T (not 240, as I stated) will work fine - this may help others. Tony
