Please forward to sai --- Sorry, I accidentally removed you from the expert working on this problem that I have - to answer your last question - I remind you that nothing shows on the screen when have two sticks plugged in. I also read on Intels website that they require 800 MHx for the bus frequency and not 533 which I have now -0 could that be the reason why we are not picking up the 2nd stick of memory?

This may due to faulty 2nd memory stick. Try to insert the memory stick into other slots and check the same.

Try to clean the slot and insert the memory stick may work. Else your slot 1 is having the issue.and it need to be repair/replace with the help of expert engineer/service center.experts.

That's obviously a problem with the memory slots. To resolve that, is to replace the motherboard itself or you can try to bring that to a computer technician and check if they can still repair that but it's still good to buy a new motherboard than have it fixed. But if it doesn't bother you using only 1 memory stick you can still use that computer though but you're not gonna be able to use memory slot 2 like what I'm doing in my computer coz I don't have enough money yet to buy a new mobo hehe.
