Hi there I got this from the line, hope it will be of use to you.
1. Login to your mail.live or hotmail account
2. Look upper right for <Options> <click>
3. at the very bottom on the pull down menu <More Options> <click>
4. under "Manage your account" <view and edit....> <click>
5. upper Left side <setting> <click>
6. Bottom left <Close Account> <click>
7. Good bye!
