Hi Thanks for using FixYa. From what you have described the issue seems to have occurred with thepowersupply. Most likely it seems that the power supply has failed. There might be a faulty capacitor or bad fuses resulting in burnt off resistors and transistors. There might be bad ICs and diodes. So the PSU also needs to be checked. I rather suspect bad ICs and Diodes in the PSU. But you will have to check for bad caps and other components too. It is only recommended a DIY Job if you have electrical expertise and know how to solder/re-solder components else you should contact an authorized repair center. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance. Thanks Rylee
Well first of all tell us that what is the model number of your TV? and how old is this TV? Anyway your TV has gone into a power protect mode which shuts down the power supply due to a failure in the power supply itself or other circuit panel due to an over current, over voltage or under voltage situation. On the slight chance there is a static charge causing a glitch in the circuitry, you can try detaching the mains to the TV for several hours and then powering back up to see if the condition clears. If that does not clear the problem, since the TV is receiving power, the main fuse is intact and will require technical troubleshooting by following procedures outlined in the Service Manual for that TV. Please let us know if you need more help or information......
