Sounds like you have moisture in there and it's freezing causing swelling. Sounds like you need to defrost- really defrost your fridge.
Remove the food to somewhere else, FIRST unplug the thing, open the doors and use fans to blow air in there to melt any ice in the unit.
Be prepared to mop up lots of water.from the floor and keep emptying your pan under the fridge if it has one. This can take a whole day to get done and maybe a day and a night.
