I can't really guess what plug you are refering to since there are more than one... Power? Microphone? Any competent electronic person that can solder wires can repair this. If cables break for instance at microphones one may have to crack open the shell to shorten the cable a bit and resolder a couple wires and glue it back together... If the plug at the end of a cable is broken, get part at a Radio Shack...
Those plugs are COMMONLY called "RCA" plugs. They are coaxial (two conductor) and one has to be a bit careful when soldering so the heat doesn't melt the insulation of the inner conductor. Strip the outer insulation back and then carefully unbraid the braided condutor. Sometimes one can use a suede brush or use a sewing needle to open the braid. This solders to the outer shell.
