Polaroid 42 LCD TV - Backlights turns off after powering on
I have a POLAROID LCD TV model TLX-04244B. When I press the power button, I can see the Polaroid logo for a split second and then all of the backlights turn off and the screen turns black. When I shine a flashlight on the screen, I can see all images perfectly. Also, the sound works fine. A technician on this site suggested an inverter board failure. I replaced the power supply board, which is integrated with the backlight inverter board, and this did not solve the problem. Any other suggestions?

The back light LED array is faulty. May be it would be difficult to get the LED Array Because its comes withe the LED panel. Try to consult Polaroid service center.
