Pool motor is 1 hp and new. The casing is too hot to even touch without gloves. It shuts off the pool at around noon and then comes back on at around 1 PM. I have a Pentair Easy Touch controller with the Compool control system (upgrade). I have had two pool companies look at it - one replaced the motor but I'm not sure that the original one was 1.5 hp. Would that make a difference? Thanks for any help. Peg
