Pool pump is very very loud, it might been a bearing going bad in the pump? Does this sound correct? The Pump and motor are about 15 years old

THIS IS A GREAT PUMP. AND IT MIGHT BE SAVED WITH A MOTOR REPAIR . ABOUT 75.00 . I HAD ONE OF THESE IN FROM 1972 A FEW WEEKS BACK.. ITS A GREAT PUMP ! all that's needed is new bearings and a shaft seal, this is a tricky job that's why i recommend having a pro do it. ask him how to make your pump last longer. good stuff to know .. jay
