I have a tappan range model 30-3341-00/02 that was given to me. I am on lp gas I switched the cap on the regulator so that the lp stamped on the cap was facing out.Is this the correct possition? The top burners leave soot on the pots and the flame has a lot of yellow in it. I tighetened down the orfices. But sill it does not to have a good blue flame.What ca I do?
