port), the laptop thinks it's a CD Drive, opens explorer, and states that files are pending to burn to CD Drive. Dell Laptop, Vista, MIFI2200. All other aspects of the device work; it connects to internet, if tethered or not, if VZAcess applicatoin is open or not. It's just nuisance that it thinks it's a CD drive whenever it's connected to USB port. Please help

Have you tried plugging it to all ports on the laptop ?
Also, try plugging it to another computer/laptop to see if it is recognized correctly.
