Porter-cable plunger extended and will not reload new nail
My framing nailer will not let new nail clip into firing plunger. Nails stop just before they reach the plunger. After trying to fire a nail the plunger remains extended.

Could be a jammed nail in the nose assembly, try removing all the nails and dry firing. If still the same after making sure nothing stuck in the nose, you probably have an issue with the firing valve or piston.
