Power adaptor cord missing and system recovery disks missing
I lost my power cord the one to charge the laptop.A since the laptop was used but in fair condition,a family member gave it to me as a gift. But without any recovery disks. this laptops that I have doesnot want to play dvds or cds.

Well, if you only lost the power cord you can easily gets a new one in any computer shop, if you are missing the charger you can search for one that be compatible; this model uses a LiteOn model PA-1600-06 or you can try one with this specifications:
Input: 100-240 V 1.5A 60-60hz (this doesn't matter too much)
Output: 19V 3.16A (this is the really important).
