Power fluctuations I have this Amp hooked up to 2 12's type r subwoofers. they hit pretty hard and then sometimes they hit really hard. I mean they sound fantastic. But its only for a couple of minuites and then it goes back to just a decent amount of bass that Im used to. I cannot replicate these situations regardless of remote settings, lights on lights off...etc..etc. If you need more information I can find it out. Me and my friend put this installation together and its just driving me insane! thankyou in advance! -jj

This is due to a few things, Your amp, the tempurature in the car, the size gauge of wire, and the alternator, When your hittin hard bass and you notice over time it kinda dies out, it means that your sub is losing power cause of the lack of power your battery and alternator produce, If the amp is fairly big then it needs alot of power to keep it at peak performance, I would recommend getting an capacitor that is well suited for your amp, this will give you the constant power you need and the bass will always stay bumpin hard for a significant amount of time, Also the tempurature greatly affects the performance of amps cause the hotter it gets the less power it delivers then possible shut off where then it will cool off for a brief moment then return for only a litle while if still bumping
