I can't find the exact diode for that one. I assume it hums a lot when plugged in and the diode is on it? Most of the diodes are pretty much the same. Most just look different and have different leads. Here is a good generic one that usually always works. Let me know how it goes!
I assume this thing buzzes loud with a shorted diode? Is it a magic chef countertop? I couldn't find the diode p/n is this thing somewhat old? If it is, most any HV diode will work.
