Power surge on hub port
Yesterday I discovered that I am not able to charge my BB 8310 anymore. Plugged into the normal 110V outlet, I seem to get no charge. I tried several different chargers and still nothing. Today I tried to plug into my computer via USB, which I have done many times before and now get the message "causing power surge on hub port". Nothing I do changes this. How do I get it to charge??????

I am having to send my wife's curve out for repair today as it seems that the very fine connections made to the circuit board from the power port have come away. This port seems to be very fragile, and poorly designed IMHO given that it has to be used so frequently.
Yes they are very fragile, my suggestion would be get a charging dock where the contacts on the back of the device are used for charging. they are quite in expensive and you can find them on amazon and ebay
