PowerProducer3 'failed to add video file'
Hiya... I've reinstalled my version of PP, which came on an LG install CD with the DVD burner, but when I try to import the video files to burn to the disc (.avi format), I get the 'failed to add video file' error, a most unhelpful error message. I vaguely remembered some issues the program had with non standard file names (containing spaces, etc), so I renamed the files and dropped them in a folder called Temp just sitting on a spare drive... I am at my wits end, because it was working before the comp crashed and I had to reinstall XP!

I solved this problem by using a different program as I could not resolve the error with the cyberlink software.
I had the same problem. Believe it or not, what fixed it was moving the files to add out of "MyVideos" (on Windows7) and into a folder of my choosing on my drive. I believe there might be some Microsoft library/sharing protection **** going on with that folder.
Try contacting cyberlink customer support. Oh, wait, they don't support their product. You could resort to the PowerProducer help file under import, but that only tells you about capturing video. Heck, I can't find anything user friendly about this software. I'm back to using DVDstyler (it's free off the web you know.)
Yes, I started having the same problem (worked fine the first couple of times.)
