Report "Presidian pdr-3222 Plays about 50% of recorded DVD disks (+ or -) but will not seem willing to initialize recordable RW or basic (+or-) disks. Initialization begins at 25%, ends at 100%, claims to read disk for 2 to 3 seconds and the reports "Disk Invalid" on all brands of disks. Attempts to "Erase Disks" run from about 0%-62%, then jumps to 92% and from 92% jumps to "Invalid Disks" notification. Unit has been used moderately for less than one year and in past has had no problems playing disks recorded on PC or unit itself. In short I need it to record from TV . Is the disk reading laser the same one that burns to disk?"
