Presto Heat Dish: footlight lens
We replaced the bulb recently with a Sylvania C7 nightlight bulb.
The light was on this morning, but this afternoon, we noticed the light was out; when we took the cover off, it had a hole in it, apparently from the heat of the bulb.
Has anyone else had this happen? Is it safe to still operate the dish with the lens having a hole in it?
Thanks for any or all responses.

The wattage of the replacement bulb should be 4 watts or less. Don't know the wattage of a C7. It is still safe to use. You could call Presto at 800.877.0441 or find a 4 watt bulb.
