The primary mirror is VERY delicate -- first surface mirror. Without a doubt you damaged it using auto polish. Mirror are cleaned very very gently using running water and alcohol-- and a tiny amount of dish soap... here is an article-- http://www.dvaa.org/ATM/MirrorCleaning.html
You can buy mirrors --- but they will be almost as expensive as a new telescope.

The 114EQ-D is not worth fixing. A six inch aperature on a good mount is the minimum for a starter scope.
