Printer erorr after down load of firmware
I downloaded firmware to a printer. The download look like it completed ok. But the print it still having download firmware and the erorr light is on the printer. It has been setting like this for 8 hours. I can get into the control panel of the printer. When I recycly the printer is comes back the the same message. Clear this out and reset the printer. thanks

The printer probably failed in the final phase of download firmware.
After eight hours it is clear that the firmware setupwas not successfull.
This may have damaged the printer.
Keep the on button pressed for ten second, see if the printer turns off.
Try unplugging printer power cord, leave the printer unplugged for thirty minutes or so.
If the printer does not restart, the firmware inside the printer had been damaged.
In this case call the support number listed on your user manual.
If printer restart upgrade firmware again.
