Printing just fine in black, all of a sudden I am getting streaks across the top of my paper. Then it will stop. After about a 100 or so it will start again. Does anyone know if you change the mono type to auto instead of color if that will work?

Yes in the Iqueue advance printing part click it from color to mona and remove the cyan magenta and yellow drums and that will prevent the black toner for hitting the drums and marking before it gets to the fuser
You can't remove the drum. The printer will not work without them will it?
