Problem in wow
Im getting all the fps i could ever want or dream for... but about every 20-30 seconds i have a good lag that builds up a bit and shoots the FPS way down for 5 seconds or so... and its a huge huge problem in a raid i go down to 1fps or lower... and when its done lagging it goes back to perfectnes... i got 400w power supply idk of that would be the problem or not... any answers?

You can bet that the power supply is NOT pushing out what your PC is demanding. When there is a change in the game that pushes performance, the video card draws more current to process the frames at the speed of the game. (I'm assuming that you do not have a SLI rig). And of course it is a HUGE problem with the RAID. For one, having 2 hard drives writing and reading at the same time takes TWICE the power all the while trying to pump out graphics. More than 2 hard drives, and your PC probably won't even boot (and if it does it will shut down because of overdraw on your psu). My suggestion is to get a MINIMUM of a 650 watt psu, as long as you're not running SLI. If you are running SLI, I would go with a 700 watt or better. But just remember, you get what you pay for. A great DEAL may not be so great in the long run!! Good Luck!!!
