Problem with error
After 3 months of using my maxtor basics it crashed and I can't seem to open it so I xan retrive my data!
it says that its not accable and that it has corupted files system or somthing like that!
please help me with this! I have all my theeses in that thing!

Thank god I have the warrantee ...so I will go to the retailer!!!

If you have another computer run it as a slave drive then copy and paste the info to a flash drive, Hard drive...etc. Hard drives fail, always make regular backups.
My first solution is to plug your Hard Drive (HDD) into another computer. An external adapter would work fine. It most likely won't work, so you should try to find a target="_blank">HDD recovery service (Click the link). Although you will find that they charge more money, they are most likely more likely to find your files then commercial "do-it-yourself" software (as mentioned in the first solution).
