Problem with white screen
I recently have had issues with my D1020 intermittently going to a white screen while playing a DVD or in TV mode. Now as of yesterday it is solid white and does not return to normal. What are my options please. Is repair viable, or more than its worth?

Similar experience with a D1020. A very small component on a surface mount PCB developed a cold solder joint and eventually came off altogether. If you have a small low power soldering iron and experience with very intricate soldering, you can attempt a repair. Do not imagine that a repair shop can repair for a reasonable expense.
